Rec Day for D/HH Kids
Is your deaf or hard of hearing child between ages 5-10? Join a fun Rec Day full of activities and excitement on Saturday, June 15, at the Weston Community Center from 10 a.m. – noon. Activities will be indoors and outdoors.
D/HH students in 6th-9th grade attended a weekend-long leadership camp in April, coordinated by Katie McCarthy and Charlotte Mullen with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program (DHHP) at Boston Children's Hospital. The students have been hard at work planning everything and are looking forward to becoming role models and leading activities for the kids during Rec Day.
This is an annual tradition that all kids love! We will play games like Duck, Duck, Goose, Dragon Tail, Red Light & Green Light, and more! Siblings are welcome to join. Snacks will be provided.
E-mail DHHPOutreach@childrens.harvard.edu if your family would like to attend!
