The Institute at Children's Center for Communication/Beverly School for the Deaf (CCCBSD) offers Distinguished Speaker Series topics for parents, professionals, faculty and college students. It is virtual and free to the public.

The next topic is "Supporting Families with Complex Developmental Needs in a World of COVID and Trauma" with Lisa Prock, MD, MPH, FAAP, on Thursday, February 10 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. EST. ASL/English interpreting is provided.

Dr. Prock is a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician and Director of the Developmental Medicine Center at Boston Children's Hospital, as well as the Clinical Director of the Translational Neuroscience Center at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Prock specializes in working with children with a history of neurodevelopmental disorders, deaf and hard of hearing children, and those who have experienced trauma.
