Ask an Audiologist

Saturday, November 2, 2019
9:00 am11:00 am
Boston Children's Hospital, Main Campus

Boston Children’s Hospital’s hearing aid dispensing program provides continued support outside of the clinical setting to families with deaf and hard of hearing children ages 0-3, as they navigate the hearing loss process, through monthly Saturday morning "coffee and chat" sessions with Alison Leschinski, ScD and Cailin Shanahan, AuD. They offer wonderful support for parents, caregivers and the child, and help develop a network of support with other families.

Matthew Fasano, PsyD, a neuropsychologist with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program, will join us this month and chat with families about strategies for self-advocacy, self-confidence and managing potential bullying situations. Please circle your calendar for Saturday, November 2 at the Longwood campus. Family-friendly activities will be provided so bring your child(ren) along! To RSVP or ask questions, contact Alison at alison.leschinski@childrens.harvard.edu.
