DESCRIPTION:The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program at Boston Children’s Hospital is hosting an annual family-centered summer outing to Spectacle Island on from 10:00 – 1:30 p.m.  Free tickets will be on a first come\, first serve basis\, and only reserved for immediate family members. If you wish for grandparents or caregivers to join\,  please let us know. You may bring lunch or purchase food on the island. SUMMARY:Discovery Museum Inclusive Evening
DESCRIPTION:Join the Discovery Museum for this special free evening for children and adults with disabilities or sensory sensitivities\, including those that are deaf\, blind\, or autistic. Enjoy a fun\, friendly experience in our accessible and universally designed Discovery Museum and Discovery Woods while exploring interactive exhibits and participating in hands-on activities. Any family that can benefit from a limited capacity visit is welcome at this event; a medical diagnosis is not required. \nThe Museum will be closed to the general public during the event. Dinner\, including a gluten-free option\, will be provided. Discovery Woods is closed for evening events in winter. \nASL interpretation may be available upon request; please indicate on the registration form if you would like interpretation at the event. All events are free\, but pre-registration is required as space is limited.
